Returning home from a trip is a time for reflection. Reviewing your stack of postcards and momentos gives you a quick memory jolt. Talking about your trip and sharing the details with others embeds your memories deep into your heart and brain.
The photos on my phone remind me of where I have been. When I share them with others, the details I hadn’t noticed at first stand out. Immediately I am transported back to standing at the ship’s railing watching the dolphins race the ferry as we enter the harbor.
