How do you research your trip? Before access to online information, I would purchase travel guides and maps at my local bookstore. To add more details, I would read histories, historical novels, and magazine articles. Now I follow Facebook groups, Instagram posts and blogs. What am I looking for? Those few nuggets of details that perfectly describe the atmosphere and ambiance of a city or location. The “secret places” that others have discovered and shared.
