Travel Talkers Toastmasters

Have you ever wanted to walk with the animals?  Talk with the animals?  Grunt and squeak and squawk with the animals?  Then come to our Open House meeting where world traveler and current Toastmasters District 101 International Speech Champion Sara Ivie will entertain us with her stories and slides from her African Safaris through Tanzania, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa.  How educational it is to watch the animals in their natural environment!  You always come away intrigued, surprised, and uplifted by each game drive and encounter in the African Bush.  When on safari, it’s essential to be alert and observant or when you least expect it you’ll get schooled.  Come share in the fun at our meeting!

Every meeting of Travel Talkers also includes the Mystery Destination quiz. After hearing the clues about a destination somewhere in the world, you will have the opportunity to guess the location. You’ll also get a chance to share your travel experiences during our Travel Topics session. Everyone will be encouraged to share a 1-2 minute response to a travel-themed question.

We invite you to join our club Open House and virtual meet and greet on Thursday, February 13th, 6:30-7:30 pm Pacific (-8 UTC). If you have ever dreamed of taking an African Safari you will be even more excited to book your trip after attending our meeting.
